I get it ... So, you want to learn food photography to get some crispy images for your blog or Instagram. Maybe you would even like to make food photography to your career? I get it! That was me just four years ago. I STRUGGLED ... Let’s be honest. Food photography didn’t come naturally to me. I struggle. A lot. If you don’t believe me, then here’s the proof!
The food photography ebook is for anyone who loves food photography and wants to learn more about creating beautiful food images. 😍
When I was writing the book, I was thinking of all the food bloggers and cooks that kept asking me for more food photography tips. However, any chef or photographer can use these techniques.
This eBook about foodphotography mis- takes means that it is divided into 21 technical & 21 mindset mistakes. It’s almost like a food photography cheat sheet where I show you all the mistakes you can avoid. Yes, over the years I have made all those mistakes.
In addition, I give you 21 challenges to practise. This eBook is almost like a food photography "workout plan"! No, it doesn’t mean we are going to do burpees and push-ups. However, you still might need to climb on the tables. We can count it as an exercise after eating all that food, right?!
I analyze many graphic images where I show my thought process behind each image in detail. I WILL SHOW YOU MY TECHNICAL MISTAKES (SUCH AS RESIZING FOR WEB, COPYRIGHT INFORMATION, BACKUPS, MANUAL MODE, LIGHT, FOCUS) AND MINDSET MISTAKES (TO GIVE SOME PRACTICAL TOOLS TO KEEP YOUR MOTIVATION UP).
As a lawyer, I couldn’t write an ebook where I explain what I think. I researched each topic to put this program together.
If you are not sure if food photography is for you, then you can use whatever camera you have. However, to take part in all the challenges, I assume that you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera. Nevertheless, a phone camera also works for most of the challenges and the best camera is always the one you have.
However, if you are serious with your food photography, then I suggest you start with a DSLR camera. It doesn’t have to the most expensive one - nowadays you can buy amazing cheap refurbished or used cameras online. 😎
