Hummus

It is a really simple recipe. It´s so simple that I haven´t put it on the blog, however, I make the hummus quite often. You can use hummus as a salad sauce or between the wraps. You can easily put the hummus on the bread and just enjoy the taste of hummus. In addition, you can use the hummus as a dip for vegetables.

Hummus is really good for your health. Because of the fibre chickpeas can lower cholesterol. It´s so rich in protein, it can help fight hunger cravings and balance blood sugar levels. In addition, it can help improve your bone, muscle and skin.

Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 400 g of canned chickpeas (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • ½ squeezed lemon
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions:

Just blend all the ingredients and it´s done! If you don´t want to use all the hummus at once, then you can put it in a jar and use it in a week.
