Fresh Asparagus Salad with Bacon

Asparagus is harbinger-of-spring! I don´t DSC_0935-2imagine spring without asparagus. In the supermarkets the asparagus is quite expensive … However, many people even don´t know that in their garden is growing asparagus. Many people just use asparagus as a decorative part for the flower bouquet. So look around in your garden or in your grandparents garden maybe you can find asparagus there. I found asparagus in my grandmother garden. However, many years I didn´t even know that it existed there.

When you harvest asparagus, then you should use the young ones. If the asparagus is very tall on old, then the asparagus don´t taste good. That´s way the asparagus is best in the spring!
