These cheat sheets are almost like my notes when I learn about photography. I will share my favorite food photography tips in these long PDF-s. I analyze many images with graphics where I show exactly my thought process behind each image.
I show you how I use different compositions (such as triangle, diagonals, the rule of thirds, the rule of odds, negative space etc.), layers, texture, props, backdrops, manual mode, and many other techniques
I analyze my color harmony between analogous, monochromatic, triad, complementary, compound or shades. I will show you how I use the color theory, color wheel, analyze my images and build the portfolio or Instagram Grid. These cheat sheets will show you the exact color code behind my images.
I’ll show you how I make my own backdrops that cost me less than 20 euros. I tell you what I always consider while choosing backgrounds and props for my food photography & styling.
The manual mode cheat sheets show the basic exposure triangle (ISO, aperture & shutter speed). It’s a short guide to get started with manual mode to get your images to the next level if you aren’t already using manual mode. If you feel like you don’t have that “artistic” mind and talent to get better in food photography, then don’ t worry. I don’t have it as well. It’s just working on your skill and practicing every day. It takes time and it’s a journey! I like to think that I’m still at the beginning of my journey and I still have so much to learn! I can only say that I have made some progress compared to 2015. I just share my tips that many of my readers wanted to know. When I started then I really struggled with this because I didn’t really want to learn the technical side. I’m usually not good with technology. As you can see in this image 2015 it’s bad. I didn’t shoot this image RAW. There’s a problem with focus, exposure, and light. I shoot this in a dark room and didn’t use manual mode. The image from 2017 I shoot in a RAW file and manual mode. I used natural light and stand next to the window without direct sunlight. There are still some technical problems with my images in 2017. However, the most fun part is that I used the SAME CAMERA! 😅
Okay, enough free product “sales” talk. 😅 You can download my cheat sheets bundle and I hope I they are useful! 😊
